ROYAL ENFIELD TURBO TWIN 250cc 1966 CAFE RACER

I purchased this on E Bay Dec 2018 for winter project. I soon realised this was a very difficult project it had a lot of problems i.e. fibreglass tank, steel one purchased from India. Everything taken apart and painted etc. all six volt wiring no good, decided with Dave's expert help it needed a new wiring loom, and go for 12 volts with indicators to make it safer for me. Engine also rebuilt, internal seals gone, every part has been refurbished and new tyres fitted. Started running in the engine around local area. Then it's first Royal Enfield run was to Burford on the 19th JULY 2020

Kim and myself have had a 90 miles tour around Wiltshires Ridgeway and byways and I rode on my 73 year old trials bike with him on the Himalayan and the instructor Steve on his KTM 800cc

I was advised to continue riding my 103 year old bike through the door and leave it there. I did not follow this advice as so many people enjoy, hearing, seeing, and smelling, this machine in working order. To me it would be like putting her in jail
